Chris “Comedian CP” Powell is currently a writer/producer and recurring character for the second season of DIARRA FROM DETROIT for Paramount+. Named to Vulture’s “The Comedians You Should and Will Know of 2025,” Comedian CP is currently the host of BET’s COMICVIEW and will be featured on Netflix Is A Joke: The Shortlist as well as the new Hulu comedy series LOL LIVE.
Previously, Comedian CP was a writer/producer and recurred on HOW TO DIE ALONE for Hulu/Onyx (winner of the Independent Spirit Award for Best Ensemble Cast in a Scripted Series) and starred in the second season of the HBOMax anthology series LOVE LIFE, currently streaming on Netflix. He was on a talent holding deal with CBS for the 2019-2020 season after starring in their pilot HISTORY OF THEM, starred in OLE BUD’S ANU FOOTBALL WEEKLY – a special he co-created for Adult Swim, and recurred as “Ned” on the critically acclaimed Comedy Central series DETROITERS.
Prior to the entertainment business, CP was a rising advertising executive in Detroit. Since arriving in Los Angeles, CP has recurred on EMPIRE, performed on ALL DEF COMEDY (HBO), and created and starred in the TBS pilot THE D.

VIP SEATING
- Purchase ALL tickets for your party in ONE ORDER to guarantee seating assignments together.
- We will not combine separate orders for VIP seating.
- VIP seating is assigned based on purchase date.
- VIP tickets guarantee seating assigned in VIP areas. We do our best to accommodate seating requests noted at checkout but requests are not guaranteed.
GENERAL SEATING
- General seating is first come, first served.
- Guests may purchase tickets separately; seating together is not guaranteed and depends on availability at arrival.
This ticket is a revocable license. Admission may be refused or the ticket holder may be removed for violation of venue policies, event rules, or applicable laws, at the sole discretion of the venue.
By attending this event, the ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks incidental to attendance, including the risk of personal injury or illness, and agrees that the venue, promoters, performers, and staff shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, or death arising from attendance at the event, except as required by California law.
Unauthorized recording, transmission, or reproduction of the event is strictly prohibited. Any such activity will result in immediate termination of this license and removal from the venue.
The ticket holder grants permission for their image or likeness to be captured and used in any photography, video, or promotional materials related to the event, without compensation.
Attendance constitutes acceptance of all venue policies. Failure to comply will result in removal without refund.
